JOSEPHINE J. (TORREGROSSA) ANDREOZZI

94, of East Greenwich, formerly of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond G. Andreozzi, happily married for 70 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Lena (Bova) Torregrossa. Josephine was a member of the Cranston Senior Center.

She was the beloved mother of R. Gregory Andreozzi Jr. of Thompson CT., David J. Andreozzi of Port St. Lucie, FL., Susan M. Gauthier of Vero Beach, FL. and Stephan J. Andreozzi of Warwick; loving grandmother of Christina Carroll, Jessica Andreozzi Neiger, Matthew West and the late David J. Andreozzi, Jr.; and loving great-grandmother of five; dear sister of the late Christopher, Pasquale, Antonio "Nicky", Joseph, Salvatore "Terry", Mary and Margaret Torregrossa, Nina Ferrie, Rose Steffelin and Elena Sharkey.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church 1 Knight St. Providence at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at RI Veterans Cemetery, in Exeter.
