JOSEPH J. VOTOLATO

81, of Sturbridge Ave., Greenville, passed away on Saturday January 2, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Rosalina (Mendonsa) Votolato. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Christina (Pistocco) Votolato. He was a Marine Corps Veteran during the Korean War. Mr. Votolato was a civil engineer for Fenton G. Keyes for many years before his retirement. He was the devoted father of Stephen Votolato and his wife Patricia and David Votolato all of Greenville; cherished grandfather of Stephanie Votolato and the late David J. Votolato; and cherished great-grandfather of Dylan and Damien. He was the dear brother of Margaret Esposito of Cranston, Ann Kindle of Ft. Myers, FL and the late Jennie Cacciola, Clara D'Andrea, Ralph "Rube" Votolato and Frank Votolato. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:15 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philips Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville at 9:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
