JOSEPH A. VIOLO

86, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie E. (DiDomenico) Violo. They were married for 62 years. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Federico and Concetta (DiBiasio) Violo. Mr. Violo was employed by the City of Providence, the State of RI and was also employed after his retirement at Ross-Simons Jewelers. Besides his beloved wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Cheryl A. Xavier and her husband Raymond of Exeter and was also the loving father of the late Fredric Violo. Joseph was the dear brother of Mary Knoll of Louisiana and cherished grandfather of Adam F. Violo, Emily, Nathan and Christian Xavier. His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday morning 8-10 am.
