JOSEPH VENTURA

Joseph Ventura, 89, of White Haven, PA and formally of No. Providence and NY died on Sunday July 8, 2007 at Hazleton General Hospital, Hazleton, PA. He was the husband of the late Angelina ( Cesario ) Ricci-Ventura. He was born in Calabria, Italy a son of the late Natale and Maria Ventura. He was a WW II Army Veteran and a member of the Salvatore Mancini Senior Center, No. Providence. Mr. Ventura was employed at Providence Metalizing Co. until his retirement in 1983. He formerly was the owner and operator of Ventura Trucking Co. in NY. He is survived by 2 daughters: Donna Maria Moore of White Haven, PA and Kathleen C. Sullivan of Narragansett. He was the father of the late James L. Ricci and predeceased by 4 siblings. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111 Boston Neck Rd. ( Rt 1A ) Narragansett followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett at 10:am. Burial with military honors will be in the R.I.
