JOSEPH CHARLES RICHARD, JR

Joseph C. Richard, Jr., 56, of Home Avenue, Providence, died on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of Frances A. (Principe) Richard. Born in Providence, he was the son of Joseph C. and Dorothy (Deady) Richard, Sr. of Providence. Mr. Richard was a foreman for the City of Providence, Department of Public Works for the past 32 years. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by two sons, Jason Richard and his wife Nancy of Virginia, John Richard and his wife Melissa of Cranston, two grandchildren, Joelle and Aidyn, son-in-law of Edward and Anna (Mastrostefano) Principe of Narragansett, two sisters, Linda Thompson and Joanne DeBiasio, three brothers, Robert, John "Jackie", and William Richard and brother of the late Michael Richard. His funeral will be held on Monday at 8:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, 179 Academy Avenue, Providence at 10:00am. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 3:00-7:00pm. Kindly omit flowers.
