Joseph R. Ravo, Jr., 71, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday, November 14, 2022. He was the son of the late Joseph and Stella (Fico) Ravo.
Joe worked at the Rhode Island State Board of Elections, Providence Water Board, Bushwhacker Nightclub, International Laborer’s Union of North America Local 271, and Alibis Café and Nobody’s in Providence. He loved motorcycling, traveling, boat rides on holidays, enjoyed firework displays, beach outings, cookouts, and gatherings with friends.
He was the Godfather of many and was welcomed by all that knew him and always enjoyed a party. He will be remembered by many old friends and cherished his relationships with them all.
He is survived by his brothers Ralph Ravo and his wife Rosetta of Narragansett, and Robert Ravo of Cranston. His niece Christina Ravo Saccoccia and husband Kevin of Narragansett. He also leaves his dear and longtime friends Richard and Sandra Cullen, and their children Lauren Cullen and Nicholas Cullen. He was the caretaker of his brother devoting his life to the wellbeing of Robert.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 7:00 pm at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be from 4:00- 7:00 pm, just prior to the service.
