Joseph A. "Joe Pete" Pietrantonio 75, of Scituate Avenue, Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2007 after a valiant battle with cancer, surrounded by his beloved family and companion. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Filomena (DelVecchio) Pietrantonio. Mr. Pietrantonio was a highly respected Realtor with Prudential-Gammons Real Estate of Cranston and was previously associated with several other real estate agencies in Rhode Island throughout his career of thirty years. He was a member of the Rhode Island Board of Realtors and the Greater Providence Board of Realtors and was the recipient of numerous professional honors. Mr. Pietrantonio was a communicant of St. Mary's Church and an active member of the Alpine Country Club. He is survived by his loving sisters; Anna Vicario of Providence and Esther DiRobbio of Johnston and was the brother of the late Paul and Vincent Pietrantonio. Mr. Pietrantonio was the uncle of Joseph V. Pietrantonio of Providence, Anthony J. Vicario of Cranston and Grace Silvestri of North Providence. He was the beloved companion of Joanna P. Longtin of Cranston and her children, Julie Longtin of Cranston and Robin Longtin of Palm Harbor, FL and grandchildren, Godson Anthony and Ariana Sinapi. He is also survived by numerous close and loyal friends. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
