JOSEPH F. PAVONE

35, of Johnston, passed away unexpectedly Monday February 8, 2010. He was the loving husband of Debra (Gionis) Pavone and the devoted father of Allyson Jane Pavone. Born in Providence, he was the son of Nancy (Shaw) Headen of Johnston and Joseph Pavone of Cranston. Joseph was a step-son of Ronald Headen of Johnston and son-in-law of Vincent and Stephanie Amitrano of North Providence. Joseph was the grandson of Rita (McDonald) Shaw and the late Albert Shaw, Yolanda (Caranci) Pavone and the late Joseph Pavone, Sr. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Atkinson of Smithfield and sisters Lindsay King of Johnston and Stephanie Mills of Cranston and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was an avid amateur radio enthusiast and inventor in that field. He was also an accomplished skateboardist and a veteran of the Army National Guard Military Police. Joe's passion in life was to appreciate his daughter Allyson's artwork and to enjoy a good cup of coffee.
