84, of Johnston, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna G. (Paliotti) Notardonato. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Otterino and Belinda (Esposito) Notardonato.
Joseph was a US Army Veteran. He was employed by Quinn Packing, was the former owner of Middletown Meats. He was also the owner of AJ Juice Service & Espresso East for over 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, and a former member of Alpine Country Club and Valley Country Club. He loved playing golf and cards.
He is survived by his dear siblings, Robert J. Notardonato and his wife Sandra, Linda Fayerweather and her husband Peter, and Diane Pelland her husband Will; loving nieces, Karen, Cheryl and Angela; loving nephews, Robert, Jr., Derek and Brian. He was also predeceased by his sister Elaine Notardonato.
The family would like to thank niece Cheryl Rossi and her husband Angelo for their outpouring love and support for our brother. We’d also like to thank VA Hospital and Hope Hospice for their outstanding care.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Masks are required. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
