JOSEPH F. MORENZI, SR
JOSEPH F. MORENZI, SR., 88, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Lena S. (Furia) Morenzi. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Josephine (Zanghi) Morenzi.
Mr. Morenzi was a truck driver and member of Teamsters Local #251 for 35 years, and was a WW-II U.S. Navy veteran.
He was the devoted father of Joann M. Domenicone and her husband Raymond of Cranston and the late Joseph F. Morenzi, Jr.; loving grandfather of Joseph F. Morenzi, III of North Providence; and brother of Antonio Morenzi of Cranston, Edward Morenzi of West Warwick, Viola DeFalco of East Greenwich and the late Helen Roy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence, followed by interment with Military Honors at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
