JOSEPH C. MATHEWS

50, of Cranston passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2011 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was born in Providence, a son of Celia (Magnatta) Mathews of Cranston and the late Robert L. Mathews, Sr. Joseph was the former owner and operator of Auto Salon in Cranston and was an avid Patriots fan. Besides his mother he is survived by his brothers, Robert L. Mathews, Jr. of MA and Michael K. Mathews and his wife Linda of Foster and was also the uncle of Jodi-Lynn, Callie, Justin, Mitchell and Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday at 11 am in Cranston Christian Fellowship Church, 1114 Scituate Ave., Cranston. His burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
