JOSEPH D. MARZULLO

87, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully at home on Monday June 21, 2010. Joseph was the loving husband of Celestina (Palumbo) Marzullo for 59 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Erasmo and Beatrice (DiRaimo) Marzullo. Joseph served in the U.S Navy during WWII and later became the owner and operator of Greenwood Electric Supply Co. in Warwick for 25 years. He was a member of the Potowomut Gulf Club and Legion of Mary. Joseph was also a member of the West Bay YMCA where he was an avid swimmer. Besides his wife, he is survived by his five children Mark Marzullo of East Greenwich, Joan Meyer of Stonybrook, NY, Jeanne Knight of So. Kingstown, Jane Emby of No. Kingstown and Matthew Marzullo of Newport and was the grandfather of 10 cherished grandchildren. He was the brother of Leonilda Ferri of Johnston and the late Paul Marzullo and Catherine Cianci. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road (RT. 1A) Narragansett. Burial will be private.
