JOSEPH LIMA, JR

JOSEPH LIMA, JR. 82, formerly of Bristol residing in Johnston since 2004 passed away Tuesday November 2, 2010 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence.

He was the husband of the late Rose Marie (Lombardo) Lima.

Born in Bristol, he was the son of the late Joseph and Angelina (Brazil) Lima, and stepson of the late Mary Lima. He was a WW-II Navy veteran.

Joseph worked at Kaiser Aluminum for many years until his retirement.

He was the brother of Tylvena Barboza, Christina Andrade and the late Aurora Barboza, Frank Lima, Henry Lima, Angelina Manchester, Mabel DePalma and Tina Almeida.

Joseph also is survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Ghost Church Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Kindly omit flowers.
