84, of Palm Bay, FL, formerly of Warwick , passed away peacefully on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the William Childs Hospice House, Palm Bay, FL. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (LaPolla) Imbruglio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Antonio and Anna (Brownell) Imbruglio. Joseph was the former owner and operator of Texaco and Sunoco Service Stations in Providence and Cranston for thirty-six years before his retirement. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the Polish American Club in Sebastian, FL.
He is survived by his loving children, Joseph E. Imbruglio, Jr. of Palm Bay, FL., Gina Imbruglio-Ciano of Palm Bay, FL., Karen Penta of Warwick. Joseph was the cherished grandfather of seven and the great-grandfather of two. He was the brother of the late Anthony Imbruglio, Anna Daniels, John D. Imbruglio.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-8 p.m.
