JOSEPH CIRELLI

87, of Sterling Ave. Providence, passed away Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre in Cranston. He was the husband of the late Rose (Cerbo) Cirelli.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Federico and Carolina (Rossi) Cirelli.

Joseph was a WW-II Army Veteran. He operated a moving and trash service business for many years retiring in 1987, and had previously worked for A&P Bakery Company. Mr. Cirelli attended Central High School &RI Trade School.

He was the father of Patricia A. Spaziano of Cranston and father-in-law of the late Frank D. Spaziano; grandfather of Frank D. Spaziano Jr., Dina and Greg Spaziano; great-grandfather of Peter, Marissa, and Gianni Spaziano. He was the companion of Doris Provost; and brother of the late Armand, Leo, Frank, Salvatore and Anthony Cirelli and Phyllis Bruno.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 11:00 a.m.

Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
