Joseph D. Cerra
83, of Cranston , passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the Avalon Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Carpentier) Cerra. Born in Johnston, a son of the late John P. Cerra Sr. and Mary (Ruotolo) Cerra. Joseph was a construction worker at Tilcon-Gammino Construction for 12 years until his retirement; and was also a Army Korean War veteran.
He is survived by his sons, Stephen A. Cerra of Warwick and David J. Cerra of Cranston; a brother of John P. Cerra Jr. of Johnston was also the cherished grandfather of Andrea Cerra of Cranston. Joseph was the father of the late Joseph D. Cerra and brother of the late Dolores Parrillo.
His funeral and burial will be private.
