JOSEPH A. CASALI

71, of Swanton St., Providence, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Lother) Casali. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Margaret (Manzotti) Casali.

Joseph worked as a truck driver for the Teamster's for over 45 years, also serving as an organizer. He was a member of the Leadfoot Car Club and Rhode Island Motorcycle Association. As a lover of "The Ride", he possessed a deep passion for the freedom that only a true lover of motorcycles could share.

He had a great love for his family. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Gina Garcia of Johnston, Dana Antonelli of Johnston, Joseph A. Casali of NJ, and Tara Konturas of Cranston; loving grandfather of Dean Michael Antonelli, Dante Antonelli, C.J. Konturas, Sophia Casali, Ashley Konturas and Joseph A. Casali; and dear brother of the late Natalie Lamphier.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston. VISITING HOURS are SUNDAY from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
