Joseph "Joe Butch" Carlino, Jr.

77, of Johnston passed away Saturday December 16, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine (Iannelli) Carlino.

Born in Providence he was the son of the late Joseph and Evelyn (Montella) Carlino, Sr.

Joe was a truck driver for DiGregorio Corporation of Smithfield for many years retiring in 2009 and was a member of Teamsters Local 251. He enjoyed cooking for family and friends but most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Joseph D. Carlino and his wife Lori and Michelle Domenico and her husband Peter; loving grandfather of Anthony Bove, Joseph Carlino, Nicholas Carlino and Michael Carlino and loving great grandfather Anthony Joseph Bove. He was the loving brother of Carol Gatta and her husband John and the late Richard "Rico" Carlino. Joseph was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral services will be private.
