JOSEPH R. BABITS
JOSEPH R. BABITS, 62, of Royal Ave., Cranston, died suddenly on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Maryann J. (Macera) Babits.
Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of Phyllis (Mobilia) Babits of Cranston and the late Ralph Babits. Joseph was a driver for Winsor Dairy in Johnston for the past 10 years. He was a communicant and usher at St. Rocco's Church in Johnston. Besides his wife and mother, he was the loving father of David and Matthew Babits, both of Cranston and brother of the late Ralph Babits. His funeral will be held Thursday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
