Joseph Natale "Joe" Aschettino

JOSEPH NATALE “JOE” ASCHETTINO, 75, of Coventry, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Kent Hospital in Warwick, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband for 54 years of Carlotta E. (Tomasso) Aschettino.  Born in Providence, he was son of the late Agostino N. “Gus” and Eleanor (DiPrete) Aschettino.

A graduate of Providence College, Joe was a sales manager in the jewelry industry for many years and served in the RI Army National Guard for 6 years. Joe was the life of the party and known for his infectious laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and at the beach.

Besides his wife, Carlotta, he was the devoted father of Joseph N. Aschettino, Jr. and his partner, Kristen E. Gaglione and Brian A. Aschettino and his partner, Karen Murphy, all of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Ashley, Natale “Nick” and Ariana; and dear brother of Stephen N. Aschettino and his wife, Elaine, of Cape Cod, MA.  He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, September 29th at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
