John H. Teeman

87, A long time resident of Cranston passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of the late Regina (Sepe) Teeman, sharing 53 years in a loving marriage. He was born In Oklahoma and was the son of the late John R. and Ina Belle (Hamilton) Teeman.

John served in the Military, retiring as a Navy Chief with 20 years of service. He earned degrees from Oklahoma A&M and Johnson and Wales University. Traveling as a Field Service Technician filled a large part of his professional life. He spent his retirement doing what mattered most. He made time for family and friends. You may have seen him having lunch at a favorite restaurant, attending church services or in a local thrift store hunting for treasures. Everyone could count on him. If ever there was something that could be done to help he would do it.

John is survived by his loving children, Luke Teeman, his wife Deborah, Maria Santopietro, Angela Pouliot and her husband Marc, J. David Teeman and his wife Sindee, and James Teeman and his wife Jill. He was predeceased by his loving son in-law Douglas Santopietro. He was the cherished grandfather of Justin, Joshua, Jalane, Shannon, Erin, Kelly and he was the “Best Papa Ever” to his granddaughter Rose and the great grandfather to Aubrey and Everett. John is survived by his sister Marilyn Landis and predeceased by his sisters Ina Mae Simson, Sybel Richardson and Zoma Belle Bolton.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Providence. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Collation to follow at L'Antica Trattoria at St Bart's Club. In lieu of flowers send donations to St Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
