JOHN TATARKA

John Tatarka, 82, of Cavalcade Blvd. Johnston, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2009 at home. He was the husband of Clara (Sinapi) Tatarka.
Born in Munhall, PA he was the son of the late Johan and Susan (Olexia) Tatarka. He was a WW-II and Korea War Navy Veteran, serving as a SeaBee. John worked for the State of Rhode Island as a Public Property Patrolman for thirty years until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church and the Manton Seniors.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter Janice Tatarka of Chelsea, MA. his brother Michael Tatarka, and Shirley, Carol and Ed and his loving nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late John Stephen Tatarka and brother of the late Mary Danko.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church Johnston at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
