John F. "Jack" Sheridan

64, of Saunderstown, passed away unexpectedly at his home on April 20, 2021.  He was the beloved companion of Cindy Belcourt.

Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Helen (Retzer) Sheridan, he graduated from North Kingstown High School.

Jack worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat for over forty years. Jack cherished the southern RI beaches and with handsome good looks and charming smile made many dear friends.

He was an accomplished gardener and cook who generously shared his bounty.  Farmer’s Markets were his mecca.

Besides his companion, he leaves his siblings, Joan Doucette and her husband Paul of Halifax, MA, Mike Sheridan and his wife Barbara of East Greenwich, Stephen Sheridan of Providence and Dick Sheridan of North Kingstown. He was the loving uncle to Danielle Sheridan Doucette and her husband Kevin Thorley and Brian Doucette; and great uncle to Jack and Anna Thorley-Doucette all of Vermont. He is also survived by many dear cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITING HOURS Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 1-4pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Save the Bay, 100 Save the Bay Drive, Providence, RI 02905.
