JOHN C. ANTONUCCI, CMSGT. Ret.

John C. Antonucci, CMSGT.Ret. 88, of Warwick, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at West Bay Manor Assisted Living Center, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Gloria (DeChiara) Antonucci. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Russo) Antonucci. Mr. Antonucci was a Warehouse Supervisor at Rhode Island State General Hospital from 1980 to 1982. He was a Master Sergeant serving in the US Army Air Corps during WW II and also served in the Rhode Island Air National Guard, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1980. He is survived by his children, Raymond A. Antonucci and his wife Linda of Cranston, Gloria Jean Manchester and her husband William of Warwick, Gina M. Zanni and her fiancAC. Steven Woodruff of North Providence and John P. Antonucci and his wife Lisa of Florida. Mr. Antonucci was the grandfather of Matthew D. Bennett and his wife Alicia, Jordan Zanni, Zaccari Antonucci, William Manchester, Jr., Ann Marie Phillips, Eileen Manchester, John Manchester and was "Pa John" to Shaun and Jack. He was the brother of the late Veronica DelBonis, Vito Antonucci, Sr., Mary Moretti, Michael and Cosmo Antonucci. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. followed by Committal Prayers and Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
