John "Al" A. Raymond

John A. " Al ' Raymond 77, of Birchwood Drive Cranston, formerly of Riverside and Johnston passed away on Saturday December 8, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. He was the husband of Ella (DeFazio) Raymond. They were married for 55 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Rose (Maguire) Raymond. He worked for the State of R.I. as an interior decorator for 7 years retiring in 1993. He had also worked for Narragansett Brewery Company for many years. Mr. Raymond was an usher and a communicant of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, and was a member of the Johnston Senior Center. He enjoyed traveling and camping. Besides his wife he is survived by a son, John C. Raymond of Darby Montana, a grandson Johnathan C. Raymond of Freehold, New Jersey. He was the brother of the late Francis J. Raymond. His funeral will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church Johnston at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
