JOHN E. PETRILLO
JOHN E. PETRILLO, 91, of Cranston, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Mezzancella) Petrillo. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Thomas and Lena (Moretti) Petrillo.
John was a foreman at the former Improved Seamless Wire Company of Providence for twenty years before his retirement, and was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran.
He was the devoted father of John E. Petrillo, Jr. of Warwick; loving grandfather of Jay, Steven and Michael Petrillo; loving great-grandfather of Nicholas, Kaitlin and Lea; and dear brother of Alfred Pedro of Warwick and the late James Petrillo.
Relative and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church, 1291 Elmwood Ave., Cranston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
