JOHN NATALIZIA

89, of Glenbridge Avenue, Providence, died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Antonetta "Ethel" (Forti) Natalizia. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Cleto and Angelina (Celani) Natalizia. Mr. Natalizia was employed by the State of Rhode Island for twenty years before his retirement. He was also employed by the former Campanella and Cardi Construction Company and the former Grinnell Corporation. Mr. Natalizia was a WW II veteran serving in the US Army. He is survived by his children, Angela M. Valentine and her husband Jay of Barrington, Stephen J. Natalizia and John J. Natalizia both of Providence. John was the poppy of Steven J. Natalizia and Jenna C. Valentine. He was the brother of Antonette Pascarella of Maine, Margaret Reo of Johnston and the late Corrado Natalizia and Victoria Natalizia. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John E. Fogarty Center, 220 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence, RI 02911.
