JOHN F. "JACK" LEONARD

79, of Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Briarcliff Manor in Johnston. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Santina (Cuddemi) Leonard. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Robert W. and Bertha (Labosiere) Leonard.

Jack was a steel buyer for the former Imperial Knife Co. in Providence for 34 years retiring in 1990. He was U.S. Army Korean War veteran; past member of the Advisory Board for the Cranston Senior Center and a volunteer at the Cranston Senior Center.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Edmund and Marie Stabile of Cranston, John and Dolores Cuddemi of Cranston and Gladys Leonard of Mystic, CT and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Robert W. Leonard, Jr.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Ave., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.

VISITING HOURS MONDAY 4-7 p.m.
