JOHN KAYAJANIAN

87, of Eastern Avenue, Warwick, died Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cranston. He was the husband of the late Gloria D.(Corvese) Kayajanian. Born in Providence; he was a son of the late Bagdasar and Mariam (Jamgachian) Kayajanian. Mr. Kayajanian was a truck driver for the former C&C Distributors of Cranston for thirty years before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #251, East Providence. Mr. Kayajanian was a WW II veteran serving in the US Army. He is survived by his children; Doreen G. Kayajanian of Cranston, John R. Kayajanian of Unionville, VA and Lori L. Hann of North Kingstown. Mr. Kayajanian was the grandfather of Andrea O. Sjogren, Carla A. Kayajanian, John R. Kayajanian, Jr. Michael D. Kayajanian and the late Erica D. Thoburn. He was the brother of the late Ada Lastarza, Minnie Belanger, Queenie Woods and Oscar Kayajanian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
