JOHN J. GRILLI
JOHN J. GRILLI, 95 of Rankin Path, North Smithfield, passed away Friday, April 04, 2008 in FL. He was the beloved husband for 72 years of Frances M. (Martino) Grilli.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Luigi and Vincenza (Morrone) Grilli.
Mr. Grilli was the owner of the former Duro Jewelry Co.
Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of John Grilli of West Greenwich and Michael R. Grilli of Vero Beach, FL; loving grandfather of Sharon Wainman, Sheryl Greene, Lauren Grilli, Michael S. Grilli, Lisa Ruggiero, Steven F. Grilli and David M. Grilli; loving great-grandfather of six; and dear brother of the late Teresa DeMaio, Virginia Nobile and Rita DeMaio.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m., from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Assoc. & Hospice Foundation 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, FL 32960.
