JOHN E. DE FRANCESCO

John E. DeFrancesco 88, of Camden Rd., Narragansett and Port Charlotte, FL, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy (D'Arezzo) DeFrancesco. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Elvira (Zanfagna) DeFrancesco. Mr. DeFrancesco was the general manager at Lucio D'Arezzo and Sons wholesale grocery. John was a WW II Army Air Corps Veteran, a lifetime member of the NRA, and was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his loving daughters; Elaine Gervais and her husband David of Coventry and Diane Marciano and her husband Carl of Narragansett. John was the brother of Pasquale "Pat" DeFrancesco of Cranston, and the late Yolanda Pescatore and Arthur DeFrancesco. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 8 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in the Church of St. Mark , 9 Garden Ct. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-8 pm.
