87, of Cranston passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at home. John was the beloved husband of the late Clara (Forcina) Dunbar. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late John F. and Margaret (Goralski) Dunbar. John was a construction worker with Laborers Union Local # 271 for over fifty years. He was a US Army Veteran serving during WW II in the Pacific Theatre, and was a member of the Knightsville Library Association.
John is survived by his loving son John L. Dunbar of Cranston. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, both in Pittsburgh and Rhode Island. He was the brother of Esther Pavlick of Pittsburgh, PA.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday. at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Kindly omit flowers.
