JOHN L. DELFINO
83, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away Thursday December 20, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Lee (Gonnelli) Delfino. Born in Providence he was the son of the late John and Marie (Borino) Delfino.
John was an insurance agent employed by John Hancock Insurance Co. for many years until his retirement. He served in the Army during the Korean War, was a member of the Musicians Union and the Knights of Columbus.
He was the devoted father of Donna Wilbur and her husband Bill of Cranston and the loving grandfather of Billy, J.R. and Christopher.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial, with military honors, will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hasbro Children's Hospital c/o RI Hospital Foundation Box H, Annex Station Providence, RI 02901.
