John Corso

93, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Alice (Hoogasian) Corso. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Marsella) Corso.

John was a US Army veteran. He was the owner/operator of Maplewood Excavating for many years before retiring. He was also a member of IUOE Local 57.

John is survived by his loving sons, Joseph Corso and his wife Lisa of Coventry, John Corso and his wife Corinne of Cranston; cherished grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Thomas and Melissa. Family was everything to John, and they will miss him dearly.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 10:00am followed by a funeral liturgy at 11:00am in St. Bartholomew Church, Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Thursday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Beacon Hospice Care, an Amedysis Company, 1 Catamore Boulevard, East Providence, Rhode Island, 02914.
