John Edward Conneely

80, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.  He was married to Laura (Manzi) Conneely.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward V. and Etta A. (Pelli) Conneely.

He was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.  A business owner, he worked in the concessions and food industry before retiring.

He enjoyed boating and fishing.

He leaves his daughter, Laura Conneely of Wakefield; a sister, Jean Chiello-Smith of Cranston; nephews, Michael Chiello, Frankie Chiello, Butchie Conneely, Robert Conneely, Michael Manzi, Alan Manzi and Paul Silva; nieces, Cheron Legault and Patricia Blankenship.  He was the brother of the late Robert Conneely and uncle of the late Pasco Manzi.

His funeral will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary Church, Cranston.  Burial will be private.  Visitation Wednesday from 9-10am.
