John V. Cavallaro III

58, of West Warwick, formerly of Cranston, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Lori (Knight) Cavallaro for 38 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of John Cavallaro Jr., and Dolores (Monforte) Cavallaro. John was a service supervisor for Monro Auto Services and Tire Centers for over 30 years. He was a proud US Marine Corps veteran serving during peace time. John was an avid golfer and was a NASCAR fan, but most of all loved spending time and traveling with his family.

Besides his wife Lori, he is survived by his loving daughters, Chrystal Glynn and her husband John of Coventry, Gianna Cavallaro and Vanessa Cavallaro both of West Warwick. He was the brother of Frank Cavallaro and his wife Elizabeth, Karen Poulos and her husband Alva, and Dolores Cook and her husband Jim. John was the son in-law of Carolyn J. Knight and the late Henry Knight. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, cousins and dogs Chester and Wesley.

His funeral will be held on Monday, January 28th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warriors Family, 11218 John Galt Blvd., suite 103, Omaha, NE 68137 or to Semper Fi Fund, PO Box 555193, Camp Pendelton, CA 92055-5193.
