John L. Capuano 87, of Woodsia Rd., Saunderstown, died Thursday, September 4, 2008 at South County Hospital, Wakefield. He was the husband of Dorothy S. (Ginish) Capuano. They were married for fifty-seven years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Loreto and Maria (Turcone) Capuano. Mr. Capuano was a toolmaker for Urschel Tool Company. He was a communicant of St. Veronica's Chapel, Narragansett and was a WW II Army veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by his daughters, Joy Y. Marziale and her husband Mario of Warwick, Lee M. Shelton and her husband Stephen of Annandale, VA and Lisa M. Burnell and her husband Douglas of Saunderstown. He was the grandfather of Sean, Tyler, Kayla, Nicholas and Dylan. Mr. Capuano was the brother of Phillip Capuano of Warwick. Funeral from the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, (Rt.1A) 1111 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Veronica's Chapel, Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
