78, of Narragansett, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2013 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Carolyn (Cartier) Caparco. They were married for the past 44 years. John was born in Cranston a son of the late John and Anna (Sivo) Caparco. He graduated from Cranston East High School in 1952 and also attended the University of Michigan. John was employed by Trifari, Krussman and Fishel until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Jewelers and Silversmiths of America, Senesca Golf League, Bonnet Shores Fire District Council, and Past President of the Travelers Protective Association.
Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his loving children, Carole Tucker, Linda Wholean and her husband Coleman, and Richard Booth. He was also the cherished grampa of Hailey, Orion, Austin, Tyler, Ryan and was the dear brother of Carolyn Manzi and Marie Caparco.
His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL 1111Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A) Narragansett, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Veronica's Chapel, Boston Neck Rd. Narragansett. His burial will be private. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-7 pm.
