JOHN FRANCIS BROWN

69, of Eldridge Street, Cranston, died on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Margaret (Fanning) Brown. Born in Providence a son of the late George W. and Mary T. (Burke) Brown, he had been a Cranston resident most of his life. Mr. Brown was a Capitol Police Officer working with the R.I. Capitol Police Department for the past 27 years. He was a 1979 graduate of the Rhode Island Capitol Police Training School, an avid sportsman and loved to read. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter: Nicole Brown of Providence, three brothers: Roger Brown of Warwick, Patrick Brown of West Warwick and George Brown of FL. He also leaves 4 grandchildren. His funeral will be held on Monday at 9:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Ann's Church, Cranston Street, Cranston, with military honors.
