JOHN "JACK" J. BLESSINGTON

JOHN J. "JACK" BLESSINGTON, 65, of Orchard Valley Dr., Cranston, passed away Friday, January 4, 2008 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of Joanmarie (Rocchio) Blessington. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John W. and Winifred (Dillon) Blessington. Jack worked for Teknor Apex in Pawtucket, RI for 8 years until his retirement. Prior to that, he was employed by Leesona Corporation in Warwick, RI and Burlington, NC for 34 years. He was a member of the Cranston Council K of C #1738. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, John J. Blessington, Jr. and his wife Kimberlee of Cranston, Kevin P. Blessington and his wife Anna of NC, Stephen D. Blessington and his wife Sarah of NC, and Justin M. Blessington of Cranston; his granddaughter, Lola Skye Blessington; and his brother, Thomas F. Blessington, (Ret. Sgt. P.P.D.) of Cranston. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston at 10 a.m. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
