81, of Warwick, passed away on Friday August 5, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of the late Assunta "Sue" (Spaziano) Bianco. A resident of Warwick since 1962, he was born in Providence a son of the late Pasquale and Rachel "Ella" Lombardi Bianco. Mr. Bianco retired as a Plant Shift Superintendent from Ciba-Geigy Chemical Co. after 28 years when the plant shut down in 1986. He had previously worked at Providence Wool Combing for 6 years until it shut down. He was honorably discharged from the 43rd Recon Division, R. I. National Guard and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Warwick. He leaves three sons and two daughters, Pasquale D. of Arizona, John F. Jr. and his wife, Lynne, of Exeter, Gary A. and his wife, Christine, of California, Jacqueline S. Robinson and her husband, Steven of Warwick, Susan Bianco Arruda of Warwick and was the father of the late Robert A. Bianco. He leaves his brothers, Richard E., Robert R., Francis R., Donald D., and a sister Cecile M. Halvorsen. He was also the brother of the late Anthony J., Albert A., Arthur W., Pasquale J., Joseph P. and Peter Bianco. He was the proud grandparent of six granddaughters and six grandsons, four great grandsons and four great granddaughters. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 8:45 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 596 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick. Burial will take place in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 4-8 pm.
