Joanne (Giansanti) Campoli

91, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at RI Hospital, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Campoli. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Irma Giansanti. She was also the dear sister of the late Anne (Giansanti) Pollard.

Joanne is survived by her loving children, Richard Campoli and his wife Marie of Coventry, Elizabeth Harkness of Cranston and her late husband Marc A. Harkness, Claudia Campoli Woodard of Cranston, and the late David V. Campoli; cherished grandchildren, Melissa Nolan and her husband Jamie, David Campoli and his wife Kelly, Jonathan Campoli and his wife Tammy Natale and Lauren Woodard; great-grandchildren, Katie Campoli, Eli Alaimo, Gabriel Avilla and the late Chase Campoli. She is also survived by her dear niece Mary-Ann Ricci and her husband Louis, III, and great niece & nephew, Veronica Stewart and Louis Ricci.

Joanne was cherished by all who were graced by her presence. Her smile and cheeriness were infectious. Joanne’s life was devoted to the care and nurturing of her beloved family and pets. A lifetime of service that was given to the church was a testament to her faith, She served as a member of the Women’s Guild at St. Bartholomew Church in Providence in which she worked tirelessly at holidays and functions. Joanne’s artistic flair was evident in her detail and execution of her many floral arrangements and projects. Her sense of humor was priceless. Forever will she be missed and loved and continue to live on in all our hearts.

VISITING HOURS will be held on FRIDAY MORNING from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
