JOANN M. (PALIOTTI) RUGGIERI

70, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Rudolph Ruggieri. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Helen (Sabetta) Paliotti of Cranston and the late Frank Paliotti. She was a processor for Shoreline Business Solutions of North Kingstown for over ten years before retiring due to illness. Joann enjoyed playing bingo, vacations with family, and especially spending time with her family.

Joann was the loving mother of Karen Anderson and her husband Douglas of Exeter, David Ruggieri and his wife Lori of Cranston, and Paul Ruggieri and his wife Cheryl of Milford, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Amanda and Alyssa Ruggieri, Kaitlyn and Brooke Anderson. She was the sister of Ann Spirito of Cranston, Frances Lopes of Towson, MD and Carol Doran of Warwick. Joann also leaves behind her beloved dogs Bogey and Bebo.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
