JOAN (MACCARONE) LOFFREDO

of Providence, passed away on Friday April 2, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice In-Patient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of Michael Loffredo. Joan was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Maria (Lanzi) Maccarone. Mrs. Loffredo worked at BA Ballou in East Providence for 19 years. She was also a professional dancer. Joan performed with the Tommy Dorsey Band and Frank Sinatra. Besides her beloved husband Michael, she is survived by her loving children, Michael W. Loffredo of Providence and Joann Albanese of West Warwick. She was also the grandmother of Michael, Jacob, Jenna, and sister of Yolanda Zinni of Cranston. Joan was also the mother in-law of the late Paul Albanese and sister of the late Frank Maccarone. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave. Providence.
