Joan A. Kapas-Brown

63, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence Brown. Born in Webster, MA she was the daughter of the late Egnos and Josephine (Zabka) Brown.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Robin Kapas, Sheri Arnold and her husband Matthew, and Melissa Brown; cherished grandchildren, Randy Lempitsky, Alaniah Jones, Corey Arnold, Logan Arnold, Ryan Arnold, Gabriella Arnold and Arianna Brown; dear siblings, Maryann Lemlin, Josephine Tripodi and the late John Kapas.

Joan was a true lover of all animals. She always rescued animals off the streets and took them in. She had many pets and did everything she could for her animals and others.

Her funeral service is private. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
