JOAN M. GIAMPIETRO

Joan M. (Colucci) Giampietro 73, of Fox Ridge, Warwick, died Monday, December 10, 2007 at home. She was the wife of Leonard A. Giampietro, Sr.; they were married for 54 years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Teoli) Colucci. Mrs. Giampietro was a Student Loan Administrator for the former Old Stone Bank before retiring in 1990. She was also employed by the former Hospital Trust and Industrial Trust Company Banks before her retirement from Old Stone Bank. She was a past president and member of the League of Women Voters. Besides her husband she is survived by her children; Joanne M. Resnick, Leonard A. Giampietro, Jr. both of Cranston and Lawrence A. Giampietro of Cumberland. She was the grandmother of four and the great-grandmother of three great-grandsons. Mrs. Giampietro was the sister of Lawrence Colucci of Johnston. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston.
