Jill M. (Sormanti) Mansolillo

July 29, 1959 — November 10, 2021

Jill M. (Sormanti) Mansolillo

62, of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on November 10th, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony F. Mansolillo, who passed away three months earlier. Born in Providence on July 29th, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Marie A. (Uccello) Sormanti.

Jill was a 1977 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School in Providence. She was a fragrance and cosmetics saleswoman for Nordstrom and Anthony Logistic. Jill also ran a sewing business and was also a licensed hairdresser.

Jill was known for her keen sense of fashion and was always the most beautiful woman in every room she entered. She loved to cook; everyone would look forward to her dishes at family parties. Jill loved to watch TV after a long day with her beloved dogs, Teddy and Molly; and cats, Bella and Luna. Jill was a devout Christian and always relied on her strong faith in God to carry her through even the most difficult of situations. She was a compassionate, strong-willed woman who deeply loved her family. Jill loved nothing more than her two sons, Anthony and Marc, to whom she was a fiercely loving and protecting mother. To her sons, Jill was a beacon of light and inspiration to work hard and be kind to others.

Jill was the devoted mother of Anthony S. Mansolillo and his girlfriend Amanda Almonte of Cranston, and Marc C. Mansolillo and his boyfriend Max Kanner of Cranston and New Orleans, LA. She was the cherished sister of Sandra Zuccarelli and her husband Joseph of Johnston, and Linda Sormanti and her late partner Angelo DeFilippo of Cranston. She was the beloved sister-in-law of Geraldine Branca and her husband Albert, and Celeste Christofaro and her husband Dennis, all of Cranston; Janet Mahfood and her husband Dale of Cooper City, FL; and the late Jo-Ann Fisher. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, especially Julie Zuccarelli and Vicki DiIorio of Johnston, and Christian Branca of Cranston, who she adored. Jill also leaves her dear friends Mary Brennan of Smithfield, Susan Filippi of Johnston, Yvonne Peal of Riverside, Louise Picciotti of Narragansett, Anca Andronic of Somerset, MA, Tya DelSignore of Sutton, MA; and Amanda’s family with whom she was very close: Roseann Babelli and her husband Michael Regine of Johnston, Gaetano and Maria Babelli of Cranston, and Brianna Almonte of Warwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 12:00 PM in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS will be on Monday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
