JENNIE (SPAGNOLI) MEROLLA

92, of Johnston, passed away in the presence of he loving family on Wednesday, November 24, 2010, at Heritage Hills Nursing Center, Smithfield. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Merolla, Sr. Born in Providence, She was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Caroline (Finelli) Spagnoli. Jennie was a supervisor in the wrapping department for the former FABRO Jewelry Company of Providence for twenty-five years before retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Johnston Senior Center.

She is survived by her sons, Frank R. Merolla of Smithfield, Anthony J. Merolla and David L. Merolla, both of Johnston. Jennie was the mother of the late Rocco R. Merolla. She was the cherished grandmother of ten and the great-grandmother of eight. Jennie was the sister of the late Michael, Anthony, Domenic, Lawrence, Joseph and Armand Spagnoli.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St .Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
