JENNIE ( GRANDE ) MACERA

89, of Simmonsville Avenue, Johnston, and Florida, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Macera. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gennaro and Maria (Geremia) Grande. Beloved mother of Cheryl Carnevale of Johnston, Jennifer Martini of Scituate, Michael Macera of Arizona, Gerald Macera of Florida and the late Anthony Macera. Sister of Rose Culla of Cranston, Emma Butmarc of Johnston and the late Assunta Liccardi, Adeline Grande, Dorothy DelSignore, Annie DiRaimo, Paul, Arthur, Thomas, Archie and William Grande. Cherished grandmother of Michael Jr., Lee, William, Ernie, Melissa, Wayne, Jenna, Jerry and the late Anthony. Great grandmother of 14. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jennie was a member of the Johnston Senior Center. She loved traveling, playing bingo and shopping. But the greatest joy in her life was cooking and baking for her family. Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Apostles Church, Pippin Orchard Road Cranston at 11:00am. Entombment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning 8:30 - !0:00am. Kindly omit flowers.
