Jennie (Kosack) Andrade

100, of Cranston passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 15, 2020.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kozack and Julia Zerbrowski.

Mrs. Andrade worked for Arbeka Webbing before retiring. She enjoyed her weekly dancing at the Polish Club with her older sister well into her 80’s and she was always on the dance floor at any family function. During her later years, she spent most of her day crocheting, with her kitty, Missy, close by. Her hats and scarves were made for DCYF, shelters and children in need. She loved a very hot cup of coffee with a cookie or jelly donut on the side. Her family will be forever grateful for her endless energy in taking care of grandchildren, pet sitting, ironing, and doing countless loads of laundry.

She leaves three children, Jacqueline Taratuta of Providence, Rachel Moquin of Cranston and George Taratuta and wife, Susan, of North Smithfield; a daughter-in-law, Linda Taratuta of FL; a sister, Bertha Zalobowski of Cranston; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a great, great-grandson.  She was the mother of the late Stanley and Terrance Taratuta; and sister of the late Leon Kozack.

Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at West Shore Health Center in Warwick, RI for their warm and loving care during her stay.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11:30am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 9:30-11:30am.  In lieu of flowers donation may be made to a charity of your choice.
